We can satisfy all the customer's requirements, be they for components made completely from polyurethane vulcanized to steel, cast iron, aluminium and other metals or plastics.

WHY USE POLYURETHANE?
Polyurethane is used to minimise problems caused by:

• abrasion;
• shredding, cutting and tearing;
• heavy loads;
• contact with solvents, acids and other chemical agents;
• noise.

In these and many other fields, polyurethane exhibits a level of performance inconceivable in other materials. Sometimes there have been specific situations for which the characteristics of polyurethane haven't been suitable.

For this reason, for many years TEGEA has conducted wide-ranging and in-depth studies of the many and varied problems and conditions encountered in industry. The outcome has been the creation of diverse product lines whit a commensurately vast product range. Some example include: - a product line suitable for abrasive conditions; - a product line for conditions where shredding and tearing exist; - a product line for the coating of rolls, rollers and wheels, subject to heavy loads; - a special product range for an innovative applications where hardness and durability are critical;   This particular range of polyurethane products has a hardness varying from: 55 to 95 shore "A" 60 to 72 shore "D" For the components made completely from polyurethane, there are no end of possibilities; the end-result being the product of the specification, and customer/supplier collaboration. Polyurethane components can be seen in all shapes and sizes and in every imaginable application. We also produce: - a wide combination of round and tubular sections whit varying internal and external dimensions; constant thickness, centrifugally-formed slabs in the following sizes: 2000x500x0,5-10 mm 4000x500x0,5-10mm - very large slabs. Polyurethane surface coating is a major part of our expertise.

We apply polyurethane coating to:

• Wheels;
• Rolls/rollers;
• Flat surfaces;

We can supply the entire coated component, including the metallic parts.

This is possible thanks to a state-of-the-art, fully-equipped in-house workshop capable of preparing all manner of highly finished tooling, molds and parts. The part proceed through a specific preparation sequence, before coating. After coating, they are assembled and delivered ready for reliable and dependable deployment. This not only means confidence and peace-of-mind in the polyurethane materials themselves, but it also eliminates any concerns related to detachment problems at the metallic (or plastic)/polyurethane interface of the component. There are many possibilities for finishing the polyurethane-coated part, including a turned finish, component straightening, machining convexities, straight-grooved or diagonally - striated surface and so forth. It should be kept in mind that we can also coat and supply the complete range of large-sized wheels, rolls and rollers up to: 800 mm. DIAMETER and 7000 mm. IN LENGTH
