Founded in 1988, TEGEA has built its business on three fundamental pillars: quality, innovation, and production flexibility. Today, the Tarantasca (Cuneo) facility is a modern production center, equipped to handle customized orders and large industrial batches.
Our factory, equipped with Industry 4.0-compliant technologies, allows for constant process monitoring and the production of custom elastomeric components, with rapid delivery times and high quality standards.

From origins to growth
TEGEA nasce nel 1988 con l’obiettivo di sviluppare soluzioni tecniche nel campo dei materiali elastomerici. Dal primo stabilimento di Busca all’attuale sede di Tarantasca, il percorso è stato caratterizzato da ampliamenti, innovazioni e una costante evoluzione.

TEGEA snc was founded with the aim of providing advanced solutions in the elastomeric materials sector.
1993
Costruzione del primo stabilimento produttivo a Busca (CN), con una superficie coperta di 750 m².
1996
Expansion of the Busca plant, doubling the production area to 1,500 m² to support company growth.
Ampliamento della sede di Busca, con l’integrazione di uffici direzionali, tecnici, amministrativi, commerciali e logistici per migliorare l'efficienza operativa.
Creation of the Quality Laboratory, dedicated to controlling the mixtures produced and verifying the physical and mechanical properties of the materials.
Inauguration of the new 3600 m² covered facility in Tarantasca (Cuneo), destined to become the company headquarters.
The first patent for marine bumpers is filed, expanding the range of innovative solutions offered by TEGEA.
Launch of 4FOOD®, the first polyurethane certified for food contact, and registration of the TEGEA®, 4FOOD®, TITANO®, and AIGAMAR® trademarks, consolidating the company's identity.
Establishment of the operating company TEGEA srl, acquisition of the movable assets of Star Elastomeri, expansion of the machinery fleet, and development of the LA NUOVA PIETRA division with a patent for reconstructed stone roofing.
TEGEA establishes itself as the Italian leader in the casting polyurethane market, producing more than 460 tons of material in a single year.

Implementation of a 4.0 production traceability system to monitor batches, machinery, and operators, and launch of TEVER, a low-hardness polyurethane for advanced applications.
Obtaining ISO 14001 certification, confirming the company's commitment to environmental sustainability.
Investment in renewable energy with the installation of a 200 kWp photovoltaic system, patenting of VOSIDA® polyurethane adhesive sheets, and launch of MAPAPLUS, a high-temperature polyurethane.
Introduction of ROTAM, a polyurethane specifically for high-performance wheels, and creation of an internal Research and Development area for advanced testing and technical support for customers.
